Your Rockin’ Team will consist of 4-6 Rockers, including one team leader.

Pick your cause to support, Family Caregiver Support, Medication Assistance or Home Safety. Each team is responsible for promoting your cause and competing with the other the teams to Raise funds. The team that raises the most funds will receive a team prize package.

Your Rockin’ team will rock the afternoon at Tanger Outlet with Citadel Communications as our media sponsor and have local celebrity Rocker sit ins throughout the day. There are many benefits to having a Rockin’ team at the Rock A Thon!

When you support Trident Area Agency on Agency we support our  older adult community. Pick your cause to support, Medication Assistance, Family Caregiver Support or Home Safety.

Trident area Agency on Aging has been providing assistance, advocacy and answers on aging since 1991!  Due to an increase in need from our older adults and recent budget cuts, we are reaching out to our community for support.

With your support we can continue to serve the needs of older adults, adults with disabilities and caregivers in the trident area. You will be acknowledged for your support and all donations are tax-deductible.

1) Medication Assistance: If you had to choose between food and your medications which would you chose? This is a dilemma for many of our seniors today! We receive calls on a regular basis from older adults in our community that are struggling to make life saving choices. We want to eliminate food or medications as a choice and provide them with the safety and security of having these basic needs provided for them. The Medication Assistance Program will provide someone with financial assistance for their medication.

2) Family Caregiver Support: Have you ever heard that being a Caregiver is one of the hardest jobs you can have? As a care giver you are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. A caregiver faces many physical and mental challenges on a daily basis. Many times a caregiver provides excellent care to their loved one and often forgets or neglects caring for themselves. The Family Caregiver Support Program provides educational information, short term in home care, facility respite care, peer support and counseling to help families cope with the emotional and physical stresses associated with caring for a loved one.
